Welcome to Pressing Into Intimacy. To press in is to go deeper than face value. For our purposes, it is to actively pursue intimacy in relationship with God. On this site, I will post simple questions to ask God in prayer designed to help you tune in to His voice and begin a conversation.
The more you listen to someone the easier it is to recognize their voice. You also better understand how you uniquely hear His voice. As the Bible says, “My sheep hear my voice …” We were meant to be in relationship with God which includes an on-going conversation with our Heavenly Father.
Whether you are a seasoned believer or just starting to discover your way, you should enjoy these simple listening exercises. If you are new to actively listening in prayer, I strongly suggest you take my e-course on Learning How To Recognize God’s Voice to develop healthy guidelines.
